this sounds neat

sounds kinda sexy, but i'm reluctant to get too excited over it without hearing the material in context. there's no mistaking that luc is behind the guitars here, but there's something nagging at me, doesn't quite sound 'gorguts'. in particular, the drumming around ~3:30 is really jarring, feels out of place... it's reminiscent of once was not and that really bugs the shit out of me.

quite the contrary . i like it how where Ulcy goes into post-metal Neurosis-ish breaks, new 'Guts apparently goes into proggier Dysrythmia-ish ones



this album will be ^ i have no doubt about that

I'll be interested to hear how longstreth tackles the acousticy parts.



Jamie (ulcerate) shows a lot of flair in the less-heavy bits. I hope John doest go for some stock 4/4 beats.



Anyway, the sample sounds beyond awesome.
