they announced it this afternoon

they also said that this year's tour is unaffected, so evidently they've got at least a temporary replacement lined up

well it was nice to come back to the bard

it was nice to have you back and also a bit of a thrill to revive my extraordinarily overdeveloped but somewhat atrophied hater reflex

you started liking meshuggah so you had to transfer the hate elsewhere

that is actually pretty close to how i operate yeah

but in truth, i wrote post-CTS mastodon off well before i started liking meshuggah, which didn't really begin in earnest until tvsor

oh i know when it began, i remember exactly where i was when you made the most shocking statement of the 21st century

you have a better memory of it than i do, i mostly just imagine i heard clockworks and thought 'dang, this kinda fucks'

What's the big deal? MEHstodon (Thanks Mesarthim) has like two good songs and none of them are "Blood and Thunder"

Yeah brents vocals weren't my favorite part in mastodon. Never got into hushed and grim, so since Bill is the metalhead of the band we might get some more old school riffs back, and I always thought brann was the best vocalist out of the three
