they've been playing a bunch of new songs on the road recently, though i haven't looked any of it up. but i'm guessing it'll be like the last one where they just release it without any big fanfare - if i remember right, they previewed it on a livestream and shipped it out the following week

Damn near about. It felt like the announcement, preorder, release and tour info were all within like 2 weeks.
