I can't speak on the recent albums, as they have so much stuff I haven't listened to, but diotima is an album that I've spent a good time jammin'

they just posted a new track last night which i was alerted to and enjoyed immensely

i think i'm just gonna wait for it to come out and then work my way backwards. i will file diotima away as one of the good ones and report back once i get to it

always wrote these guys off as hipster black metal

i suppose i probably thought that a long time ago but i don't care about that anymore as long as it's actually good. which i get the impression these guys can say a lot more credibly than most of the HBM contingent. i mean colin marston's in gorguts, that's gotta be worth a few points at least

i like most of what i've heard from colin marston, he's an interesting dude
