New band. Literally only on track 4 and I’m in love. Haven’t even checked out their album they released last year yet. Blackened Sludgecore if that’s thing. It is now. They are listed as deathcore on metallum. This is way more than deathcore. Maybe blackened post-sludge?!? Idk but it’s fucking great so far.

I just skipped around on the songs but I don't hear much riffage. The sound on the album overall doesn't seem bad and I got the blackened sludge element. It's late and I've been drinking most of the day, so I could be way fucking wrong. I'll try to revisit this tomorrow and see what's actually going on here.

Yeah it’s almost downtempo. Lots of atmosphere. Hence the post sludge thoughts. On the first listen of the first album now. Really vibing with this here.

Hmm, those are definetely some drop A death core guitars but everything else is not. It warrants some more listens
