i have gone through ulver phases but i have to admit i do not put them right up there

I got sent 'Bergtatt' when it came out (I was a DJ on local radio in Wales at the time), and I didn't even know out of 'Ulver' and 'Bergtatt' which was the band name and which was the album title (it was one of those cardboard-sleeve promos and didn't come with much info)...but I loved it, it went through so many moods and atmospheres and I played the shit out of it on my show. That and the Ved Buens Ende debut were regular plays for a long time.

It’s actually been quite a while since I gave them a proper listen.
