Hoping for a new Perturbator album this year.

I'm pretty sure you're the one who introduced me to perturbator, and synthwave as a whole. I heard dearh of the soul on this board. I went and bought a good Roland keyboard shortly thereafter.

In 2024 I am looking forward to Earthburner, Kill Division and Narcotic Wasteland. Vltimas is my favorite album this year so far.

I didn't care much for the new Nile. Just finished listening. True Gods of the Desert and the closing instrumental are solid, but that's about it, really. It's not as bad as Sethu and the one after, but it's a far cry from those first four to five albums.

Horrible mixing and vocals as well, to boot, but that's a Nile thing nowadays.

i am enjoying the new nile, i liked the last one too but first 3 are just so good.

at least the slamming riffs are back more.

The two slower, mid-paced tracks I mentioned are good. I've been enjoying them. It's just everything else that falls really flat.

And there are.....too many vocals. They don't shut the fuck up for a bit...and neither does Kollias.

i never had any interest in blood incantation, they lean too hard into old school death metal worship and have no identity of their own

i look forward to the new dead congregation and defeated sanity albums

dead congregation took too long and i don't think i really care about them anymore

they had it ready eight years ago but made you wait to further their own conspiratorial interests

everyone's always doing this to me specifically

they do owe me a t-shirt though and i think that soured me on them more than anything

That means pre-orders should drop soon . Unless they are just gonna throw it up on the release date, which wouldn't surprise me at all with this band.

I am still eyeballing those November dates to see if I can make one.
