yeah seen em twice now and both shows were a great time. i was a little bummed the leather terror tour didn't have the same backing video treatment that leather teeth did, but it was a bitchin' performance as expected

listen you fuckers, i can't see any synthwave shit, so just get on board and recognise their time has passed
the only good bands are the ones that come to thailand from now on

I could listen to tons of synthwave shit on youtube and be like "yeah cool" , but it's just so oversaturated I won't remember the names, except a few that really made me pull a big

yeah the breakout success of the hotline miami games and CB/perturbator etc spawned a million indistinguishable imitators almost overnight. plenty of great stuff to be found under that umbrella, but oversaturated is 100% the word

Dan Terminus, Daniel Deluxe, Perturbator, Carpenter Brut, and Dance with the Dead are the only ones I really come back to again and again. There are some others that are okay but I don't go out of my way to listen to them.

dwtd always felt like dollar store carpenter to me. definitely cool for something in the background that i don't need to pay attention to, but never a first pick for me
