What are your thoughts about deathcore in general?

It's cool at many places to hate it. I get it, there are many boring copycat bands, but there are many good ones.

For me, many times they sound more "brootal" then death metal bands, easier to listen, since they have simpler songs, sometimes I'm in to the rhythmic chuging and breakdown thing, and of course there are many good vocalist who are pushing the boundaries.

I used to listen to a lot of old Whitechapel and Fit for an Autopsy (Hellbound is a great album, check it out!), now I listen to some Crown Magnetar and Signs of the Swarm.

there's a couple I can tolerate but won't go out of my way to listen to or see live. so yeah, no.

Is this the chugger chugger sounding stuffs?

yes, theres a few good ones and a hell of alot of bands ones.

fit for an autopsy are really good, old whitechapel was but i struggle to listen to them now, they turned to shit.
