it's definitely true, at least if we limit the scope to "the subset of their fanbase that posts at MABB"

it's boppier than villains, which i think we all agree is a good thing

the songs are rather shorter and more to the point, which can also be a good thing and in this case sometimes is

there is some interesting dual-guitar counterpointing going on that reminds me, oddly enough, of some of the songs on heretic

jorsh's obsession with dad-pun wordplay is at an all-time high; as a result it no longer seems clever, but borders on and often veers into the territory of straight-up

obscenery is a better version of feet don't fail me

made to parade is a lesser version of head like a haunted house

sicily is reminiscent of hideaway but they are not truly comparable

emotion sickness had already grown on me somewhat before i heard the rest of the album and discovered that it is somewhat more buoyant than several of the other tracks

i will listen again, although i am not in a hurry to do so

Sounds like this is a worthwhile listen, will definitely do this thing Friday, as I haven't downloaded an album since like, mid 2010's and I can't be bothered to do so now

I listened to the album once and I liked it, vastly more enjoyable than villains. I just haven't been in a qotsa mood recently. I'll definitely go back to it at some point, but today is not the day for that and I suspect the next several will follow suit

Hmm, this album takes some listens, But I vibed with it pretty good today
