No I mean death metal, death/doom type albums.

I still cannot listen to Shape of Despair without being emotionally attached deeply... it's the only doom metal band that I always emotionally struggle with listening to, but at the same time also absolutely adore.
Especially this album, Angels of Distress. I think it's the best album they've ever made, together with their first Shades Of...
The cold atmosphere of Angels of Distress just grips your heart and doesn't let go until it's completely filled with darkness, sorrow and despair.

Catching up to a lot of music posts in this forum tonight, finished the work I had to do.

But now I'm stuck listening to Shape of Despair again since it's so good
And then I think that every Finnish death metal thread we make, turns into either a funeral doom or black metal thread :grimredneck:

Also , Shape of Despair hits hard. I really have to be in a certain mood to even give them a serious listen.
