I actually remember watching this back in the day, the part with the fan knowing the words but not James was amusing.

i remember watching this and then talking about it on the metclub forum

evidently the fan who requested the last song asked for fade to black first but the producers told her it would make the show run long and told her to pick motorbreath

also after motorbreath they played so what, but that was not aired on the televisual version

I haven't seen this before. 1998...so they were just about to release Garage Inc. and I think this time was the pinnacle of Lars' and Kirk's coke habits.

this was in march of 1998, they were about to do the reload tour

i would guess that their snorting was at its zenith on the black album tour

oh man there are a bunch, let me fire up the ole search function right quick here

this one is one of my favorite shows of theirs from any era

the summer 99 shows are all fantastic, it's like they found that early gloryhole era energy again. started fucking with the setlist more as well
