I always come back to this video from time to time. I'm well aware that this is not an easy song to play on drums but Tim Yeung did a really good performance here.

Absolutely fantastic!
I've always loved his drumming. So much swing and speed.
it's a shame for several reasons that hellhammer is a racist piece of shit and one of them is that he's an absolutely phenomenal drummer. such a waste of talent

that video is a real treat, i just stumbled upon it today actually. it's the entire show & it's from the lombardo reunion-ish tour where they played all of reign in blood. and as the dude pointed out in the youtube comments, it's kind of a mind fuck that the band let him film from that close
yeah there is nobody else in the game right now that can touch that dude. absolutely inhuman

(watches video)
he's quite skilled technically but he's not doing anything unusually difficult or innovative

it makes me really happy that pete is still doing his thing. after his back problems and departure from morbid i was afraid he wouldn't ever get out there again
also pete is doing mostly fine in that performance but what the fuck is up with david's vocal timings here
The musicianship of everyone in this band is severely overlooked.

To me, the best live version of "War Ensemble" ever recorded.

I mean, I consider them to be on their prime live setting during "War At The Warfield". Yeah Lombardo wrote some great drums and yadda yadda but to me, Bostaph's drumming is leagues above Lombardo.
The icing on the cake is Bostaph's solo during War Ensemble. So simple yet effective.
