If tickets weren’t astronomically expensive I would think about going but you fucking know it ain’t gonna be reasonable. I almost went and saw them about 5 years ago just for shits and giggles and the cheapest tickets in the stratosphere were $130. Fuck that.

Well this is a surprise, I didn't think there would be a new metallica until late '24
This song makes me think of garage inc, it has some overkill/it's electric vibes, as well as James's vocals. I like it pretty well
The album cover is different, hopefully there are some curveballs on this, To change it up a bit, I am interested in hearing a new metallica album again!

Gotta hear something fuller from the album to make any real judgment. Totally possible the track isn't indicative of the overall sound. It's a 77 minute album with 12 songs. Bound to be some meaty bangers in there.

the most interesting part of this song was in the beginning where it sounds like wood drum sticks click together but lars uses metal drum sticks
also part of the second solo has a similar passage to mustaine's four horsemen solo
this was boring
