I feel like unique leader had a bunch of these bands. That includes severed savior, one of my favorite early 2000s dm bands.

Divine Empire - florida death metal band that saw some success in the late 90's / early 2000's. pretty much all of it's members have played in Malevolent Creation at some point and Derek Roddy drummed on the first album. They haven't put anything out since 2005.
