Yes, you heard me right, my favorite band of all time...Metallica.



Death Magnetic was a damn good record, I can say that...but that record made it seem like that's all the win they have left to offer. They should just seriously do a farewell tour or a farewell live DVD or something and call it quits and keep that reputation of theirs as the most important metal band of all time lest they tarnish that reputation any further.

I care so not about Metallica that I didn't remember about them.



But yes, also Metallica should really quit.

Unfortunately, the fact that Metallica is easily the most marketable metal band of the last two decades is not gonna make a Metallica retirement tour/DVD/live album a possibility that easily. I'm speaking for the sake of the greatness that Metallica ever is that they should really call it a day soon.

Well you're probably one of those folk that hated Metallica since the Black Album or since Load...I can't really contest you on that as that is obviously one of the biggest (if not the biggest) controversies in the world of metal and every tr00 and kvlt duder would understand this.

honestly, there are very few bands that don't fall under the banner of 'once good, but really need to give up'. i think working out a list of the bands that actually should continue would be a much more interesting exercise.

I saw Heaven & Hell on the tour with Judas Priest, and they were fantastic. Judas Priest, on the other hand, showed their age just a bit. They were much better the next time I saw them, fortunately. People desiring to see Ozzy with Black Sabbath one last time should really think twice about how they want to remember him.
