I admit i dont like all of their previous efforts, but this one is damn good.

i've tried to like this band many times but i never click with them, but i still think they are a unique band with substance not just some ordinary spazzcore band or something

great disc, and one of the best of 2009 without question. the deadbeat/cutter combo is probably my favorite section of the album, but there isn't a bad moment on the whole thing. definitely their strongest release since jane doe.

overrated i won't object to simply on account of everyone and their grandmother jerking this band off, i just happen to think they're actually worthy of the praise. terrible though, is just a dumb and wrong assessment. overhyped isn't worth addressing as i don't think there's any meaningful distinction between that and overrated.

To be honest i never really liked them all that much til i saw them live and kinda caught the bug. I hard-on bearer in my class gave me axe to fall and it's some of the best material ive heard from them. Bleak nd fucking heavy. There are some cool lighter stoner moments toward the ened too.
Fuckers are touring with coalesce too

i had no idea coalesce still existed, dang. i think they both played on the contamination tour i saw in like '98 neurosis were headlining it.
also i didn't know they'd announced the headlining tour already, but it seems they're playing somewhere in NC on may 29th
i just really, really hope it doesn't wind up being raleigh
