Weill, best I can do is to rank the ones I’ve actually studied somewhat.
-Bleeding
-Tomb
-Eaten
-Butchered
-Vile
-Gallery
-Bloodthirst

also i should note as it’s semi related, I’m been jamming a few six feet under albums the last handful of days and theyre better than I remember. Mainly haunted, warpath, maximum violence. unborn/undead are both surprisingly kick ass as well.

Bringer of Blood is still hilariously bad though

You should give kill or the wretched spawn a shot.

still remember buying bloodthirst and the bleeding together at media play so many years back. Good times.

Eaten was literally the first dm album I owned, on vinyl of course :xx: went to a garage sale as a teen and got Eaten along with The Tem Commandments and Hell Awaits on pristine vinyl for something like 2 dollars :tvrky:

i really love cc, even saw them twice, but i've never really given the albums the attention they deserve

every time i see pat and jack tear their guitars apart on this performance it makes me want to do the same :grim:

this was harder than I thought. I really like a lot of the corpsegrinder era but can't discount the barnes era.

I'd rank them in chronological order. Solely because when Barnes was in the band they were gaining a lot of momentum up a slope that was against them. When George joined, they didn't really have much to offer except sustainability. Early 2000's to present is just very mediocre death metal, decent, but had no relevance.

in the last three years i rectified that, but cannibal corpse's mid-career is still a giant black hole for me

Bleeding is for sure the better album overall. Butchered just hits the nostalgia switch for me, only reason I've got it at #2.
