Priest cover that's better than the original

Beyond the Realms of Death is not one of Halford's finer vocal performances. He sounds actually kinda bored on the original recording. Plus, the song just needed to rock harder. Along comes Blind Guardian (who I can't say I pay much attention to) and Hansi Kursch (who's a fucken beast), and they cover the song and just...fuckin' nail it. I love it.

i haven't listened to them in a long time, but their material up thru nightfall is good stuff. one of the very few power metal bands i've enjoyed, i guess they're a bit of a guilty pleasure 'cuz they're just barely beneath rhapsody on the nerd-scale

I admit it. Probably yhe 70% of Priest's covers, are better than the original
Blind Guardian's beyond the realms of death = TOTAL WIN.
