Daikaiju is an instrumental surf rock four piece. They play more uptempo surf rock in the vein of Man... or Astro-Man?. As the name would suggest, the songs are influenced by Japanese movie monsters. To my knowledge there is only the self-titled album available for purchase. My personal favorite songs are "The Trouble With Those Mothra Girls", "The Daikaiju Who Loved Me", and "Incognito". Of all the music I heard for the first time last year, that album got the most play.

They also wear kabuki masks while playing live. In that regard, they're similar to Los Straitjackets.
