Night did have some good songs but I got bored with it quick, the flow was a bit slow, but I guess it could be I just wasn't in the mood for it, I'm sure I'll go back and relisten eventually. Same with fall of hearts

A little story about the time a great cold distance came out. Some hard-on bearer and his girlfriend moved into town, I seen him at some bars and we always talked about music because we both were always wearing band shirts, but we had a good conversation about katatonia and the great cold distance when it came out, he was the only katatonia fan I've met in real life really, so I was pretty stoked about that, none of my friends listen to them. Not too long after though he died of a morphine overdose, never would have guessed he was an addict

But yeah that album always brings back memories of that

City burials is actually pretty good. It’s definitely a grower type of album. The only two I never listen to are the first two. Just not into them trying the death doom style. Otherwise to me they are all good to outstanding. Jonas’ voice is perfect for the gothic doom proggy rock they are masters at now imo.

my fellating lover convinced me to listen to more katatonia a couple weeks ago. i like the second album a lot and discouraged ones was pretty good too. listening to fair deal now, not bad
