i posted this on the omc message board:
So I had this thought the other day. Since the lyrical/musical theme of my Lp is going to be about all aspect of drowning,i.e physical, mental and whatnot I thought it would be a good idea to collect stories and experiences from people via the internet relating to this. Be it near death experiences, dreams or just that the feeling of drowning in everyday life.
So I am basically advertising here for a person who would like to catalog those narratives. Going out of your way to contact people through the internet who are either A)into Wormlust B) or just similar music in general. Get them to record their stories in quality audio and catalogue their name for the liner notes.
This would not be a thankless job obviously, the person that is interested in this would get his/her share of cd/lp/merchandise copies to sell, give - destroy (up to you) and other stuff related to the band and linear notes thanks (obviously).
anyway... its just a thought.

half stein, this is seriously fucking awesome. way to go dude. unfortunately my connection cuts out all the time so i only have 56 seconds of seven paths. very beautiful, meditative. awesome blast beat pattern. my only gripe is the vocals. they sound a bit weak. i'm guessing you're trying for the whispering style, but the pronunciation is a bit..i dunnoo. overall though, awesome. i hope void hears this, his black metal is similar.
and i do have some stories i'd like to share. pretty fucking cool thing you got going here.

actually, i've changed my mind. i do like the vocals, but i'd like to see more guts. i dunno. whatever awesome though. i'm listening to this a lot.
i just downloaded the rest of seven paths. this blows my mind. the drum alterations at 5:12 are beautiful. fucking fuck! i want your autograph!
also...the band name, wormlust. maybe i'm missing something...but

i hear this beautiful music...then...wormlust.
it would be cool to hear the pause at the beginning without having to fuck around with the timing on a computer.
the vocals though. honestly, it's hard for me to really hear them. all i hear is reverb. if you're singing strong i'd like to hear it more up front.

thanks man, but the name Wormlust = a lust for the grave, whats more beautiful?
As for the vocals , just a stylistic choice, felt that it fit the music. Check out the haud mundus/split and you can hear the progression from there to here.
abzu: the wolfheart demo? awesome

I wrote a song once called Lust For The Grave. It was about necrophilia. More specifically, it was about a person who was so obsessed with female death goddesses in mythology (ie. Hela, Ereshkigal) that he would fuck fresh female corpses to try to be closer to his obsession. Mind you, this was back in '97 and the music to it is painfully simple and uninteresting. Maybe one day I will rewrite it or write a sequel to it that is more engaging.
