any one here into Aussie band Devolved?

They're tech death, and like a more fruital/tech version of Fear Factory, if you ask me (in terms of image, production and lyrics + some riff ideas).



I've seen them quite a few times and they were good.



I just read new ('new' for me, haven't looked them up in about 4 years) info one them, that they're pretty much based in the US now?

Any US people seen them? They supported Divine Heresy on a bunch of shows.

wo wo wo.. they're in the us now?! why? haven't heard this dudes in quite some time. i remember really digging their debut and the follow-up a tad less (and the cover of Battery was quite ). are they recording anything new? it's been too long (2004, iirc)

Not sure exactly where they are now... and I'm a little confused. In 2004 they released 'Calculated' here in Oz.



Now their myspace says it's being released world wide next year and is the first album to feature the new vocalist.

But in 2004 it had the old vocalist...

I'm guessing they've re-recorded the vocals and maybe even re-mixed/re-done it all with Neil Kernon.

The art is also different.



And yeah, their debut was great, the EP after was cool, but not as great. After that it got a bit samey... I'm curious to hear the 'new' "Calculated"
