Carcass - Heartwork vs Heartwork Demos
I think I enjoy the demo a little bit more, the demo is more raw but it sounds really heavy. The solos aren't as good or some of the vocals but the rhythm is really crushing.
(these are bad quality but I'm sure a lot of you have heard the demo)

Re: Carcass - Heartwork vs Heartwork Demos
I recently downloaded the demos bonus disc and I like the finished album better.
I found Jeff's vocals & phrasing was weaker than the demos.
Colin must have given him some ideas on that.
the music is pretty much the same though...

the demos sound rad, i love the rawness to it, but the album sounds superior to me, i love the production on that album

Re: Carcass - Heartwork vs Heartwork Demos
this band reminds me of a slower karmablade with 80's black metal vocals and melodramatic melodies.
Treys solo tone actually sounds a bit thin to me on Domination. It's definitely got a wah sound to it, even if he's not moving it with food it sounds like he has it turned on.
Re: Carcass - Heartwork vs Heartwork Demos
They sounds sooooo Death Metal on the demo 'cause of the rawness.
