Why do you have to dig through your collection to list albums? Nobody can recall their favorites off the top of their head? That's what I did. I didn't look through all my albums either.

1. i would miss some that, you know, weren't on the top of my head

2. i don't care what year something was released in, so i would need to check if it was released in 2002, 1997 or what have you

3. it's a stupid thread and i'm looking for excuses to post in it and subtly point out how fucking stupid it is :fuckoff:

That's part the fucking point of people listing their favorites, because people will list shit you enjoy that you forgot and you'll go "oh hey I forget that album, awesome", then commence TALKING and DISCUSSION of albums in this period. That's why I said I wonder what I'm forgetting in hopes people would participate in list making. It's supposed to be a fun thread, you know, on a message board, not to be taken so serious if you forget some. Clearly you have some anger issues.

Also, you mean to tell me you've never listed your favorite albums, movies, books in any discussions before?

If it's fucking stupid quit fucking posting in it!

probably :santa: . and i anger easily when i have to point out the obvious and/or repeat myself
Also, you mean to tell me you've never listed your favorite albums, movies, books in any discussions before?
i have, but it's usually "best albums of xxxx year" or "best albums in x genre of the last y (anything from 1-5) years" or the usual "top 5-20 albums of whatever" but nothing as moronic as "best albums of the decade". it's waaaay too much unless you specify some stricter criteria. while you're at it, you could've asked for "what are your favorite 10000 albums since 1562 in every genre ever conceived"
If it's fucking stupid quit fucking posting in it!
no

that i could do. actually, i like doing those. but instead of simple lists i usually try to include a short description of the music/reason why it made the list, as to make it more comprehensive and accessible to people that have not heard many of the albums i listed (since i like to list a bit more obscure/less known stuff 'cause somebody will mention the more well known albums eventually :redneck: )
