There's such interperformance/interperformer variability!



I have a particular version of it that I think is great. Not sure who it's by. Same with Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Both I have from when I downloaded the sheet music for them a number of years ago, so I don't know who the performer is.



It's a shame there are no recordings of how these people had wanted their music to be played.

yeah, i've heard alot about him, but only just heard him for the first time from your link. very clean player & like you said, you can hear all notes really clearly.

Pretty much all his stuff is odd in one way or another. Look up the song Raygun for some really weird sounding stuff of his. He does flawless tapping on a fretless guitar while singing like Jimi Hendrix.

Man, Yngwie's picking technique is so amazing. It's so clean and his right hand is incredibly relaxed. I've been working on picking like him a lot. I've lost a lot of my picking speed on higher notes because of so much legato playing

There is no best.But Alex Scholnik (typo?) is way too underrated.That hard-on bearer can shred with the best of them yet keep it sounding so melodic and not blurred.
