Don't you just hate it when the music is awesome and then you hear awful vocals? It pisses me off so much, really makes me dislike the song.

i'm sure some of you will disagree either way with this band but you get what i'm saying.

Divine Heresy easily comes to mind.

Megadeth, obviously.



plus, about 99% of those "depressive" bm floating around (usually not exceptionally good music, but at least decent, ruined by godawful vocals)

Mithras...not that i opposed the vocal patterns, more the vocals themselves, not they were bad, or didn't fit, or that I even hated dude's vox, i just couldn't get into them alot of the time.





um, cradle of shit, maybe I would enjoy them if dani wasn't mouth shitting all over the tracks, i dunno...

im sure there's more, but that's all i can think of right off hand.





Oh and I really can't get into Karl Sanders' vox 95% of the time. you can barely hear them, much less make out what he's saying, it's sounds like someone clearing their throat.

Dude, I completely agree. I dig Mithras music but the vocals just never did anything for me, after watching Bean at fruital Assault I think they're going to sound way better



Megadeth vocals.. I like but I see why lots of people hate em' and Bob Dylan should have his voice box removed

I agree on that point, these scooby doo vocals dont fit in at all.

kinda, although i kinda digged the manic approach on said album (and for an even more awesome vocal performance in the same vein, check out Dark Tribe - In Jeraspunta)



but the main offenders (imho) are bands like Silencer, the russian Gloom (if you ever hear a vocal performance more ridiculous and pathetic, please let me know) or Pensees Nocturnes (the music has some serious potential, but the vocals that make dani filth sound like frank mullen completely ruin the experience)

Ruins of beverast new album: has the lamest opening vocals, so much that I couldnt listen to more and quickly turned it off.



Yeah, I dictius te necare is a good album, and the music on silencers -death pierce me is well played, thats why most people allow themselve to get used to the vocals.
