croatia. but i'm pretty close to the italian border (~40km from trieste) and one of the local dialects is the so called "istro-veneto" (it sounds quite like venetian, except a bit "harsher") so italian comes naturally to me

I am born in Lombardia, but my dad is from Veneto, so I pretty little know the dialet. My grandma talks venetian dialet. I have also some friends from Veneto and Fruli. I like those lands
