don't pay attention to any local music around here, but i could probably go on for hours about all the mediocre local acts that populate the last city i lived in. it's easiest to just refer you to:

and that's just metal bands! my general rule of thumb is, if your band is based in worcester (and there's a huge pool of local bands), you suck and will never get any exposure outside of said city.

Dont let the NYC thing fool you. They're from here originally. They always sucked, even when they were called Torsion, but they never sucked this hard. I almsot didn't think it was them when I listened... but then I saw the damageyastamina.com domain and knew...

yeah those are all pretty fucking bad. i kinda hope someone throws a brick at that first band the next time they play 'strength thru nonviolence' in front of an audience

this band has been around since i was like 14 under various names. always been awful and always been a big local success but still havent gone anywhere.

the old singer for the above bands new project. not really a local act since hes in los angeles now . but the hard-on bearer is a supreme douchebag and i figured everyone would get a kick out laughing at him. once his old band got big around here though it went to his head to the max. hes the idiot with the dreads by the way.

Bunch of deluded druggies more than a band really, but man these idiots CONSTANTLY get gigs in the local bar and I can't understand it, by far the worst band i've ever seen AND they are absolute fucking scumbags to top it off.
