ok, I'm not going to pull a shitty or anything here but jesus fucking christ people, 23 views and ONE comment?! You know, I've been posting on this board for something like 6 years back on the first mabb and it seems like EVERY thread I have ever make gets shit for replies, why is that I wonder? Is it the bands/topics I posted about, is it me, somebody throw me a damn bone here, it'd be great. The velvet underground do not suck, this much I do know. Thanks in advance (watch this get no replies).

It´s sometimes like that to have highly eclectic musical taste, you can´t expect a response everytime but occasionally you hit a nerve. Mind you there are way to many glam/hairmetal threads here - but that´s cool as well. And yeah I like velvet underground , check out The Black Angels - they even have nico as part of their logo

Ryan you should check out some of their stuff. Knowing your tastes, you'd be most interested in their self titled album (their third) and their "Loaded" album (their last). They admit they made the Loaded album in an attempt to get huge and write commercial songs for the radio, and it shows. The first two (VU and Nico and White Light/White Heat) in my opinion are the best and most classic. They are more experimental and kind of all over the place, but the songs are fucking



My personal favorite is the VU and Nico, the one with the Warhol banana in my avatar, grown to be one of my favorite records, period.
