Well...it's not as dark as the original and this actually came out sounding like just some run-of-the-mill grunge song for me. It's fine...nothing to write home about.

Yeah, I'm with you. I'm a huge AIC fan, and I usually like anybody's take on their songs. Opeth's better band than the death metal scene gives them credit for, and that was a pretty decent interpretation.
I'd love to hear them do Nutshell instead, though. I think that would be more up their alley.

pissed me off that mikael skipped out on the last chorus with the extended "floooood agaiiiiiin" part. would have liked to seen how he handled it, whether he tried to mimic layne or went for his coverdale-esque going out of key, or what
