honestly, i can't tell if these bands are trying to be serious, or if it's supposed to be some sort of retarded hipster parodic irony. i don't think the bands themselves even know. either way, everyone responsible for creating this stuff and anything like it needs to be rounded up onto a remote island and nuked from orbit.

I came into this thread with "St Anger" loaded and ready to fire from my fingertips, but then Lumlum had to remind me of iwrestledabearonce. They're the audio version of gastroenteritis. In fact that's literally what they are, they've taken in a load of influences and now they're all spewing out in every direction all at once.

the attack attack song is so full of autotune that it's not even funny. actually we were just having this debate on the sneap forum because joey sturgis (producer, also did all the albums of "the devil wears prada" etc) posted about the autotune debate.
