blame marduk, they're a shitty band who writes terrible useless music, and their inability to do some basic fucking paperwork apparently sank the tour.
in all likelihood, mayhem was in the same position as the other bands, trying to avoid losing money on the tour. strangely, they don't mention anything about that in the article though, because i guess they need someone to blame and some way to make the article interesting to draw viewers, etc.

nah. this is mayhem more than anyone. they made this their tour despite it being a package tour. they don't give a shit about the other bands who work just as hard if not harder then them. they only made sure to come off as tr00 despite the fact that the half the crowd has been leaving halfway through their set every night of the tour. I say good luck to them on the remaining dates, they'll probably have even shittier turn outs than they already have.

gonna have to say this is marduk's fault tbh.
what I got out of that article, by cleverly reading between the lines, is that there needed to be a scapegoat for the dissolution and they didn't want to blame it on marduk. so they blamed it on mayhem instead, who just wanted to get paid (like the other bands on the tour). not to mention that this is more than likely a full-time job/business/income for them, where-as the other bands have their own day jobs. if you were in that position, wouldn't you want to get paid what you were contractually guaranteed for every show and not end up losing money?
so basically marduk fucked it up because hakansson didn't bother making sure all the paperwork was valid and complete.

I don't think all of them had day jobs. cattle decapitation tours nonstop so i'm pretty sure the band is their job. withered and cephalic i'm not sure about.
