:santa: but i'll wait for the leak. i want to hear the album in full before passing judgment. i hope this recaptures the awesomeness that was sorely missing from the last 2 Deathchain records

You listened to any of the tracks on the myspace?

Also, this has sort of been released already. Some limited edition thing.

:doubleoldsubtle:

Haven't been able to narrow the offical release date down from "early 2010".

"Early" 2010 of course, is subjective, and therefore doesn't exist.

i just did. it sounds nothing like what i expected it to sound (i.e. Deathchain of old). it's pretty competent old-school swedeath. well played and some decent riffs but it doesn't really bring anything new to the table. it kinda reminds me of Bloodbath at times. but, like i already said, i'll wait for the full album to leak before passing final judgment :sicken:

When was the last time somebody brought something new to the table?

Not that you should therefore drop your standards.

It's definitely worth a listen. I await the leak.

Ulcerate? Mitochondrion? Vengeful? Execration? Scrambled Defuncts? Anata? Stargazer? Portal? Cosmic Atrophy? Crimson Massacre? Borgia? Augury?

anyway, these are definitely worth a listen. it just gives off a strong "been there done that" vibe. anyway, you should definitely check out Deathevokation and Karnarium (the s/t album) for something a tiny bit different in the swedeath subgenre :santa:
