I've seen them way more than anyone else. Got 20 or 21 clutch shows in since 2005 .

Haven't seen them since they did the tour with rival sons at the tail end of 2024.

Six Feet Under is playing here in a couple weeks but probably gonna skip that one.

I do have a ticket to see Dimmu Borgir /Hypocrisy / Hulder / (I thought Suffocation was also on this bill but I guess not) in the middle of August. Never seen Dimmu before and obviously it's well after their peak, so hopefully they're alright.

After that - Weird Al / Puddles Pity Party at the Minnesota State Fair

and then Slayer / Down / Suicidal Tendencies / Hatebreed.

It is about the longest trip you can make in the netherlands, even beyond Vamphy's lands. They speak a funny language there and they have nice architecture. Excited :xx:

Dimmu Borgir were excellent, but I was blown away by the opener Hulder - reminded me of old school black metal in the best way possible. Hypocrisy had visa issues so they had to cancel, which was some bullshit. :grimsanta:

Weird Al was amazing, it's been many years since I seen him and was worried I wouldn't know most of the set because I don't pay attention to modern pop music - but he played a very old school set. Puddles was hilariously awesome as well. Good way to round out a day at the fair with my wife. She loved the show so much that we are going to see him again next month out of state about 5 hours away.

Fuckin' Slayer - god damn son.You could tell Tom was feeling it a bit, but he still gave it his all and still sounds fucking great. It was awesome getting to see them again even if the whole final tour thing was a fake out. Down fucking killed it as well, playing while the sun was setting and the place was lit up with smoke. Hatebreed was Hatebreed. Suicidal Tendencies kicked ass, I actually wished they got to play longer as they helped really set the mood and were just a blast. :bang:

Up next: Revocation, Defeated Sanity, Fuming Mouth, and Weeping :santa:
