oh jeez that's a tough one. i can think of a lot of great 21st century debuts, but i don't know if i could single out the best one. out of the stuff i listen to i might have to give it to kayo dot's choirs of the eye though

I was thinking maybe Necrophagist but Onset of Putrefaction was actually 1999

Thought about it for a bit and nothing tops it. Still remember blind buying the cd in Sam Goody in the Mall of America like it was yesterday back in 2010 simply because of the artwork. Still some of my fav artwork to this day. Wish they could get the rights from Prosthetic Records so the cd and vinyl could be reprinted. They supposedly were in the studio last month recording something. If we ever get a proper follow-up….

That is my favorite song off the album and my favorite apc song overall so I hear ya, but that album is still solid as it gets and holds a lot of memories and such
