seriously though SF were overplayed before the turn of the decade, and they only got worse from there. i saw them at the espresso bar in worcester years before anyone knew who they were (EVEN BEFORE BRIAN FAIR JOINED THEM ZOMG CHECK IT OUT DUDES I AM SERIOUSLY IN THE LOOP HERE, FOR REAL), and it wasn't much to write home about even back then.
