Same, other than Blut aus Nord. I'm sure there was something released this year that I'm forgetting about..

It's most excellent and about what one would expect from the band - not overly dissimilar. Their first three albums feel a little more consistent, but Fourth Reich is definitely worthy of your time.

The new Suffocation, Mastodon and Blood Red Throne records are the ones that have tickled my balls lately.

Actually, that new Blood Red Throne record is really growing on me...sure it's no Altered Genesis but damn it's such a headbanger! :bang:

naaah. Pest (the german one), Arckanum and End realeased better old-school BM albums this year. and Ride for Revenge's take on the "Drawing Down the Moon" aesthetic was far better (filthy, doomy, but a bit too monotonous).

Funeral Mist - Maranatha

Antigama - Warning

Beherit - Engram

Samael - Above

I didn't like new Funeral Mist and Samael at first, I had to listen to those 3-4 times to like it.

Cool. I do need to purchase this album once I have spending money again.

Also, Stormy is correct. The new Beherit rules.
