i have one of pete's sticks, its knawed to hell and doesn't have a plastic tip. i also had a pick, i don't remember if it was from eric or trey, but it was a dunlop jazz.

i got a few picks from Trey, including 1 from the Love of Lava cd.

it's a pink pick with the Chewing Inc. logo on it (the little pyranha)

i wasn't making a joke or something. i read somewhere they carve little slits into their picks for better grip.

He doesn't do that anymore. He used to do that before he stared using the rougher surface picks he has now.



On topic: I have some from the altars era; grey nylon Dunlops. And one of his used Chew inc. My copy of LoL came without a pick... (fuckers )

I started doing that after seeing it on both Erik's (from a Hate Eternal show) and Trey's (from the Masters of Chaos tour). It works great once the powdery stuff on a brand new Dunlop Tortex has been ingested (in between playing, pick enters mouth -- habit I'll probably get cancer from).

now that's a project i would have loved to have seen life & hear it

used to have a dozen or so picks that trey gave me, i have precisely one left and i'm not even sure where it is anymore :|

Yeah, I never even asked about the carving. Maybe I'll call and see what that's all about. Just took it as funny at the time. Glad to be back, thanks for the re-welcoming!

Like said above somewhere, the carvings are made for better grip. I never thought about doing that but I can see it's potential.
