Album Review :

This album, to me, is so mysterious yet it is bold. They tell of the Triumvirate of Most High. [I am, I will, I create] Some of the words that they speak are in Sumerian which, I think, adds a little more 'juice' to the music. Morbid Angel tells the world that there isn't just the mundane slime in this world....There are things that you may never imagine. They are truly and utterly legendary. And they don't speak this lightly.

Their message to us is to think for yourself and I think this album expresses it extravagantly. No one can deny that Formulas denotes magick. Trey's solos were recorded in the Temple of Ostx.

"The purpose of these hymns are to lift up and give praise to the Most Ancient of Days. We willfully give of ourselves to be Their Instrument on this earth."



Closing Comments : This is one of the albums that inspires me most to create awesome artwork. I would have to say this is my favorite Morbid album. My favorite saying in this album is: "Bil Ur-Sag Lul-Lu astute masturbator-Hul Tur Ha-Elm Zalag" or "O Lion-Head, Your awesome Blaze of Fire consumed the gathering of the treacherous and the ill-natured. Purifying them."



Formulas truly speaks out to me. The Living Continuum is all but yet it is not. Every time I listen to Formulas Fatal To The Flesh, I feel the Continuum flowing from their music and their words. I give praise the mighty Morbid Angel for their work and for the connection to the Triumvirate.

Blessed be to Morbid for creating this wonderful and awe-inspiring piece of work. And blessed be to the Most High!
