What happened to the Abominations of desolation remaster?

On the old forum, there was a user who remastered the AOD album.
He also collected videobootlegs from that era.
He remastered the album and was planning to send it to Earache for release or something. I nice idea I think since the first official release looks very cheap-assed.
Never heard anything from it since. What happened?
This is the artwork he made for it:

Hell awaits !!!
Here is A.O.D. again.
Well, it is very sad that the album was not released in its remastered form.
In 2006 I sent a copy of my remaster to Dig for possible 20th anniversary release, but he told me that he never received my package...I am sure he is not really interested in putting some effort and money into that project...
Well, the artwork you show here was the first one I created for my personal remaster. Last year I did a different one, maybe I should upload it sometimes...
I sent one copy of my remaster to Mike Browning and he told me that I did an awesome work !!! It really blews him off !!!
So I hope in 2011 (the 25th anniversary of this legendary album) EARACHE and the band will release a special edition of "A.O.D.". It's time to make it perfect !!! Would be great to add some live-, demo- and rehearsalstuff, maybe a kind of a boxset from that early period ??? Would be real killer, to get tracks like "Bleed For The Devil" or "Morbid Angel" in its best possible quality, recorded by the first and only true line up...

Hi AOD, I was wondering, what source material did you use to re-master? You had the raw mixes?

The original mix in its original and not remastered form is included on the official EARACHE CD and LP release, so it was easy to use this version to create a professional remaster.

Are you sure about this? Maybe he truly never received it. Earache loves to cash in on remasters so why not release one that is already done?

I don't think that Earache would put money or effort into this project. They would probably care more for a deluxe verison of D or C. Anyways, I think you did a tremendous job.

I don't think I ever heard his remaster.

It's not the remaster, it's the original mix. If we're talking about the Satanic Records Bootleg LP.

I have the Earache pressing of this on LP.
What's this about a remaster?

As I understand it the hard-on bearer above got a copy of Abominations of Desolation with the original master and remastered it.
Can this be downloaded freely for personal use somewhere? I enjoy AOD very much, too bad Trey refers to it like a gay bastard child.
Contact Earache and ask for it to release it! When they get enough demand, they might do it
With MA taking the route we all know, I dont see evil-D/Trey allowing that to happe. Also, I understand there's someone trying to make money out of this, which doesn't help the cause (unfortunately altruistic "bootlegging" is a thing of the past, even with the interwebs making tape trading to easy). I think fans showing they are reverting to the original, getting back to basics, would be a better statement than actually giving money to a band that says they dont care about displeased fans - the sames that helped them reach so far.
Earache have the rights, they can and are re-re-re-releasing Morbid Angel Earache stuff into infinity (as they're already far up that road)
I don't see ANY argument that points to anyone trying to make money out of this, other then Earache itself, who need to be convinced.
