What song is it that everyone seems to find fantastic but you couldn't really care much for ?. I know every song by MA is pretty special to some degree, but a song that is perhaps popular that never really made you shout from the roof tops in the same way.

Yeah probably Where the Slime Live, I thought it was amazing the first times I listened, but I think I over done it. Also, David vocals remind me of Illud too much, I need time to forget that exists

Where the slime live, I still get goosebumps during that solo and the breakdown type riff before, but its really overplayed. if they switched that out for nothing is not that would be incredible but of course disco D wont.

I think it could be a good idea to always imagine that IDI is some kind of side project that MA did. We are still awaiting the proper album right ?

Folks are gonna hate me for this but for me Invocation of the continual one. The only part i really like is the middle where the guitar plays the haunting riff on its own. But then i usually skip to something else. I wasn't too impressed with live versions i've seen too. I can understand people liking it a lot but it is my least favorite from FFttF.

I think that song is awesome! But most overated song? ... hm... not sure, I think it's Chapel of Ghouls.

I think that's fair enough actually. I don't play it often simply because it's so long. I described it a few months ago as sounding like a collection of awesome riffs but not really feeling like an actual song. It is epic and does all meld together well I suppose, but yeah, I don't go mad for it like most people either.

Ok, I went with Chapel of Ghouls. I think because they play it EVERY FUCKING time.

as much as i enjoy invocation, i can probably agree with that.



chapel of ghouls is definitely a good nomination as well, i'm tempted to pick that over GoE actually. they really need to pull that off of their setlist already

I'd have to say Nevermore, when I first heard a few years I was like "meh"...... still can't fathom how people actually like that song. Boring beyond belief and very secure sounding.

I think Ascent through the spheres and Victorious march of reign the conqueror are underrated They always sounded good to me as individual instrumentals, not to be taken too seriously as part of their respective albums general context

Also, yeah Chapel of Ghouls really could go away for a while.

I would definitely agree with Chapel Of Ghouls. They should take that off the setlist and put Trey's extended solo somewhere else... I'm sure it wouldn't be hard for them to fit it in.
