Covenant question

I just bought the US CD pressing of Covenant on Giant records and noticed that there was something different about the cover. So I took my Euro CD to compared and noticed that the occult symbols on the US version had been removed from the book on the far left. Has anyone else noticed this?

Search the board dude. I've asked the same thing a while ago... And there is another weird thing about the version with the two sigils..

Me: I recently bought the US pressing of the Covenant CD. The cover as you know pictures the book of ceremonial magic among other things. I noticed that the sigils are missing from the page on the American pressing. Was this intended?
David Vincent: long silence) Not many people pick up on that. Good eye.
Me: I decided to do some research and a hard-on bearer who owned the book informed me that the sigils on the Euro version aren't on that page of the book. That's it's a montage...
David Vicent: Yeah. You're correct... But the reason for that is for you to find out. But you are correct. I'm going to leave that as a mystery.

If you're curious, those sigils are from the black pullet. Specifically how to makes rings for various purposes, if I remember correctly.

I know where the sigils were from. Thats not what i ment. I kinda got the feeling that there was more to David reaction. Because of his Maybe/maybe not post.
But thanks

that "long silence" sounds like he is thinking "um. i have no idea and don't care either. should i just sit here looking evil? oh wait, i do that anyway. damn it david, you've been quiet too long, you have to say something."

Giant /American verison of the CD / Sigils
Earache / European verison of the CD / No sigils
American verision of the book / Sigils
European verision of the book / No sigils
Could it be as easy as this?

I think it would be the other way around then, I have the Earache version and it has the sigils.

Cheesy? It's a backcover from a mag which got some damage thoughout the years. But why do you say it 'd be cheesy?
To me it looks like "promo poster" instead of "another variation" lol
Yes of course it's a promo poster, which contains a different variation on the artwork. You do see the differences in the artwork, don't you?

Yes I do, although I find retarded to criticize my supposed, inexistant lack of understanding when it comes to differentiate ALBUM ARTWORK instead of PROMOTIONAL ARTWORK RELEASES.
