MABB v6.6.6

This thread will turn into the actual campaign thread but before we get started let's lock in some details. It will probably take us a week or two to figure all that shit out I.e. ruleset etc. I am most familiar with D&D 3E because that's the one I played the most back in the day. I can get my head around 2E and 3.5E also but I have no idea about the later editions. I am also most familiar with the Forgotten Realms setting so would like to set the campaign there for ease of use.

We must complete these steps before beginning the campaign:

1) Choose ruleset.
2) Lock-in who is playing and the party make-up.
3) Post your character sheets. These will be pinned posts by the players at the top of the campaign thread that you can edit as you level up etc. They will include your inventory etc.
4) Agree on some game flow rules (i.e. within the forum system, like committing to a certain number of posts per week, perhaps making all actions within the game bold text, all dialogue in "" etc. dice rolls etc.)
5) Begin the campaign.

I’m also in! Totally new to this though.

Hopefully the Reroll app will be released soon.
That way we can create characters on our phones and keep track of stats.

i've heard of people doing D&D over discord, that could be fun/interesting but the scheduling might be unrealistic

I'd probably be roped into playing this regularly if lived up in the past lands

there must be some kind of dedicated platform by now with integrated dice rolls and grid combat maps etc. we could use

I live in the superior time zone of the east coast of the united states. Only real free time id be able to commit would be on the weekends

i have a flexible time schedule at the moment with only four major unbreakable commitments every week and i am in AEST

the humid savage winds tell me it's GMT+8
