I'm new to this forum, but not unknown to some of its inhabitants. I offer you this clue:

Crowned in Terror can die in a fire.

The smart money says rhino or Skinner guess first.

My original name was The Emperor Dude, then York Peppymint Patty. I haven't been known as that for years now however.

My last username was Ten Clown Removal. I was the other admin until I stopped posting. It seems that I let an effing Geordie surpass my post count, too. For shame.

The effing geordie likes to whore it up in the most mundane manner possible.

Re: Fresh meat

I was a shameless whore, beyond a doubt. I haven't posted at all in a forum like this since I stopped. I got the urge on Sunday. I might have been doing it at the Nile BB had my account not been accidentally set to inactive due to an error with my previous e-mail address. While that was being sorted out, I came here, and I like it. I've no desire to post whore, so I'm aiming to bring quality like I once did. That, and get up on the Deathrace King peenur, also like I once did.

I also mean to occupy myself at work in between periods of extreme productivity. The nature of my work gives rise to periods where I have more to do than one person can handle, and periods where I find myself wanting for information from counterparts within the company and customers without.

what do you do for work

Re: Fresh meat

I'm a designer/engineer for a company that builds pressure vessels and engineered process systems.

I had a lot of nicknames back in the old days. Iranman. IRman. Ernman. Inram. Ironman. etc.

Yea, I did once. You went to Texas A&M University? It's good that you've progressed and become an engineer. The world needs more engineers.

Re: Fresh meat

by Meat Engine
Unfortunately I went to A&M's little brother and only got an engineering technology degree. Fortunately I am licensed as an engineer-in-training, and I can do like 85% of what a full ME can do. I have a good mind to go back to school sometime in the near future, and specialize in...I don't know what. Energy conversion, perhaps. Or gundam building. Unviersities offer that second one, right?

Gundam, like the Japanese TV show?

Re: Fresh meat

Oh my yes. I want to build one of those, and not out of paper either. I want a real gundam made out of gundamium alloy.

I could design a personal distillery using common process plant components. I have even begun to in my downtime. The problem is, though, that a basic copper kettle is superior in that it doesn't require a heat transfer module that costs as much as a car. You just light fire under the thing and the mash boils.

I'm at University of South Florida going for a degree in Electrical Engineering as we speak. And glad to see you again Fu. :santa:

Re: Fresh meat

I'd say working with the local power companies, i.e Progress Energy. My Grandpa was an EE with them as well as my Dad. And I want to continue that.

You can't go wrong with power generation and transmission. There are tons of interesting jobs that pay well.

What's that word? When a job is kept within a family?

I think it was used in the Renaissance or Reformation or something.

Nepotism?

EDIT: It was nepotism.
