I look forward to discussing these things with you. I am extremely concerned about the potentially catastrophic direction our activities are leading to for the environment.

All of the geeky science threads get placed in Free Discussion. Personally, I am all for a Science forum on the bard, but for now that's where they be.

It's better to not break down the forum into any more subforums.

Why do you cringe every time somebody says "global warming" when they mean "global climate shift"?



Is it really that bad an error?

Is there evidence to support this?

How is it a misnomer? Is the temperature decreasing in some places?



And it must be pretty difficult to isolate the causative effect of a particular type of pollution on a population.

Fair enough I suppose. It's not really a misnomer though, is it?

And there are powerful corporate lobbyists who don't want legislation to pass that proves that x chemical causes x disease because that causes corporations to lose money. And we all know how much they love their money.
