Goatwhore , Skeletonwitch, Kalakai, Maruta

so this show played Tallahassee the other day. it was really fun. the turn out was shit. only the locals went since the semester just ended every other metal head in town decided to bail I guess. oh well. talked to the bar owner after words and said even though it was a shit turn out they didn't loose any money because everybody drank so much damn beer.



Goatwhore - awesome! it has been a few years since I saw these guys last, they were good then, they were better now. they are finally at that headlining level I think.

Skeletonwitch - 2nd time seeing these guys within a couple of months. they have a lot of promise, I could see them getting huge if their next cd is as good as beyond the permafrost, because they are amazing live. they played here and got such a great reaction that they said they'd come back. considering this wasn't a tour, they kept up that promise.

Kalakai - great thrash from Miami, bought their cd at the show. it owns. check it out.

Maruta - grindcore from Miami, not bad, but not great either.
