Dual monitors at 1280x1024. Monitor 1 is my normal desktop and monitor 2 is FreeBSD 7.2, with Enlightenment wm, running full screen in VirtualBox.

Yep. If you have the specs to run multiple OSes, and the interest, you should give it a try.

The desktop on my laptop is pretty much the same except it has network connections on it. Might install a linux distro on it soon though(now has XP Pro, it's a Pentium 3 with 512mb ram), I tried Xubuntu and it was ok but not faster than XP. I'll wait til this new "Lubuntu" comes out which is supposed to be way faster than all the other Ubuntu distros.

Faster/slower than vista? That thick taskbar and big icons on it makes it look like a linux distro(ie: horrible).
