i doubt this is the case...given that it's 2013 and if there were a whole load of CGI in there, the VFX artists did a really good job in making themselves 'invisible' in the project. after watching the whole film, i could personally point out a few scenes where they could have used CGI



anyway, yes the movie was definitely better than i had expected

sorry to rain on the parade but i thought the evil dead remake was fucking abysmal ... double kick to the face in seeing raimi and campbell so enthusiastic about it too

Finally I saw it, because I had nothing else to see. I never like remakes because you already know the story. The only thing admirable was the effects, the cast did a fine job too
