How is Amsterdam in these days???



I was talking with a buddy and thinking about spendind few days during summer there, to have some fun.

Nothing sure yet, just an idea, but I was wondering if it could be a nice idea.



tell me all u know about the city

and just few questions: is dangerous? how are the price for fun and drink??

Amsterdam is busy with tourists and very expensive in the centre of town. Also on the terrasses they charge more for a beer than inside the bar

It does have nice old buildings.

And for those interested there is the red light district and a lot of dope..

Personally i get kinda sad walking around the red light district.



There a far nicer city's architecture wise.

Tilburg is nice, Haarlem is nice (but redbeast lives there LOL)

Rotterdam has a lot of modern architecture, and art too.



It all depends.



But for booze, hookers and drugs Amsterdam will do.

Well in that case Amsterdam will do fine.

Just keep your hand on your wallet.

There is a lot of pick-pocketing going on.

And remember: the terrasses are more expensive. Sitting inside the bar saves cash.



And although you are going for drinking, fucking and smoking, the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum are nice places to go to.

I agree with what you say about Amsterdam... it's a nice town to go to once or twice a year, but it's really nothing special.

There are a lot of towns in Holland (and other places) that are much more interesting to go to, imo.

I never had a problem with the pepper.

He just acted like an asshole for the 70%, but the 30% was acceptable. I actually didn't have problems with him, but if his presence means no devy,ninny,ryan presence I sincerely prefers that he doesn't back. But personally if he wants to back I would not have problems.

He was okay just a bit too present ;-)

I've been to Amsterdam a few times, it's pretty nice. Personally I preferred Eindhoven, Great clubs/pubs, its cheaper than Amsterdam and theres weed there too. It's worth noting that theres lots more to Amsterdam than the drugs and girls. There must be hundereds of museums and the park is nice too in the Summer.

I agree,

Haarlem is historical a great city, nice shops, restaurants and bars, old buildings.

I live Haarlem.



Also Utrecht is a wonderfull city, one of the oldest in Holland, and a awesome Football club

i shall one day see a totally depraved live fuck show in some European town
